Domestic water boosting pumps are auxilliary pumps which are used to increase or maintain pressure in a portable water system. Booster pumps are most commonly used in systems where there is inconsistent demand for water. When demand is low, the booster pump is on stand-by, when demand is high, the booster pump is activated and it maintains the neccessary water pressure to meet the newly created demand.

Domestic booster pressuere water pump systems are triggered to operate when the rate of water usage increases or the water supply pressure drops elow acceptable levels.
